What Vedetta does
Vedetta holds health, safety, and environment observations along with daily progress reports from field work. Connecting an organization to ChatGPT makes that reporting searchable and summarizable by day, week, or month.
Only approved report content is searchable. The app can also examine how custom fields are configured and judge whether the instructions attached to them are specific enough to produce usable entries.
Access is read-only. Any change proposed during a conversation, such as a revised custom-field setup, has to be entered in Vedetta itself. One of the developer's sample prompts asks for a draft field configuration to be validated without writing anything back.
