What Figma does
The Figma app connects ChatGPT to Figma files for implementation work. It can inspect a design and produce code from it, and it can also write back: creating a new file, generating a library, or building a screen in Figma.
Code Connect templates are part of the offering, mapping published components to their code counterparts so later handoffs refer to the same source. The app can also generate design system rules specific to a project, which points at repeat conversions rather than one-off screens.
