DMAP AI examines drought conditions for a chosen location over a chosen span of years. Source climate data comes from either NASA POWER or ERA5.
Outputs include tables of the Standardized Precipitation Index, identified drought events with their duration, magnitude and lowest SPI value, summaries of wavelet scalograms, and diagnostics on how drought recurs over time. The example requests point at historical work: SPI for Ames, Iowa between 1981 and 2024, event identification for a selected site, and periodicity analysis using the global wavelet spectrum.
The ChatGPT version is a subset of the wider AgriMetSoft product. Copula methods and the paid workflows are not part of it, which the app description states plainly.
