What Rill does
Rill Data builds a dashboard product where metrics are defined once, as measures and dimensions on a metrics view, and queried from there. The connector opens that layer up: available metrics views can be listed, a specification read, and aggregations run against it without anyone writing the underlying SQL. Every result carries a link back to the matching Rill dashboard, so a number that appears in a chat can be checked against the same number in the product. An existing Rill project is the prerequisite, and the four tools stay inside the semantic layer rather than reaching the warehouse directly.
