Overview

## What Jam does

Jam records a screen session along with the technical detail surrounding it. Pasting a Jam link into ChatGPT brings that recording's data across: the video itself, console logs, network requests, errors, and the user events that led to them.

From there the recording can be explained as a sequence, converted into a bug ticket ready for engineering, or written up as test cases following the exact steps taken. Other described uses are summarising a customer's experience and its impact, grouping related recordings into issue clusters, and planning code changes against real traces.

The connector's job is translation. It turns a recording into structured, machine-readable data, so reproduction steps and logs do not have to be retyped or requested from whoever hit the problem.

### Who it is for

Engineering, QA, product and support people who receive bug reports as Jam links and have to act on them.

### What stands out

Console output, network activity and user events travel with the video, so the analysis rests on traces rather than description.

## Where Jam is listed

Jam ships this on both marketplaces: Jam is listed in the Claude connectors directory and in the ChatGPT apps directory, under the same publisher domain.

Only 392 of the 3,150 products in this directory are listed in both marketplaces. One MCP server can serve both surfaces; what differs is each platform's listing and review process.

Claude listing

## In the Claude connectors directory

Jam publishes 6 tools to Claude. That is a mid-sized surface: 28.1% of the 1,253 Claude-listed connectors expose fewer.

The median Claude-listed connector filed under Developer Tools publishes 13, so this one sits 7 tools below its bucket's median, 64th of 95.

It falls in the 4-6 tools band, which holds 16.2% of the Claude directory.

Jam publishes a remote MCP endpoint. Claude connects to it over HTTP; there is nothing to install locally.

Every connector in the Claude directory is remote, all 1,253 of them, so transport is not a differentiator there.

In the publisher's words

## How Jam describes it

> Jam's MCP is the fast lane between Jam recordings and your dev tools. Drop a Jam link into VS Code, Cursor, Windsurf, or Claude and the whole recording – video, console, network, logs – arrives pre-packaged. No hand-typing repro steps, no copy-paste stack traces, no screen-share drama. Your tools get instant context, you stay in flow.

This is an independent catalogue entry compiled by Node8 from Jam's public marketplace listings as they stood in August 2026. Listing facts come from the marketplaces; the comparisons against the rest of the directory and any live-endpoint measurements are Node8's. Node8 is not affiliated with Jam, and inclusion here is not an endorsement.

## Want your company reachable inside ChatGPT and Claude?

Node8 builds MCP servers end to end: deciding which tools are worth exposing, the authentication and permission model, the review submissions, and the onboarding that gets them used. One server serves ChatGPT, Claude, and Microsoft Copilot.
