Who it is for
Product and design teams who run workshops on Miro and want boards read or assembled without opening the canvas.
Overview
Miro's connector works with ChatGPT and Codex in both directions. A board URL dropped into the chat produces themes, decisions, and open questions from a retro, planning session, or strategy map, and search runs across every board the account can reach.
New boards can also be generated. Layouts arrive ready to run for a specific ritual such as a retro or sprint planning, with frames and sticky notes, cards, docs, tables, and images already placed. Research done in the chat, on competitors or user feedback for instance, can be laid out on a fresh board, and a prompt, pull request, or spec can be turned into architecture, sequence flow, entity relationship, or user journey diagrams.
Comments can be read and resolved, replied to in thread, and converted into a list of actions on the board.

It both reads existing boards and writes new ones, including replying to comments in thread and turning them into actions.
Availability
Miro ships this on both marketplaces: Miro is listed in the Claude connectors directory and in the ChatGPT apps directory, under the same publisher domain.
Only 392 of the 3,150 products in this directory are listed in both marketplaces. One MCP server can serve both surfaces; what differs is each platform's listing and review process.

Claude listing
Miro publishes 31 tools to Claude, deeper than 81.4% of the 1,253 Claude-listed connectors.
The median Claude-listed connector filed under Developer Tools publishes 13, so this one runs 18 tools above its bucket's median and ranks 21st of 95 by tool count.
It falls in the 21-50 tools band, which holds 20% of the Claude directory.
Miro publishes a remote MCP endpoint. Claude connects to it over HTTP; there is nothing to install locally.
Every connector in the Claude directory is remote, all 1,253 of them, so transport is not a differentiator there.
https://mcp.miro.com/ Miro carries partner verification in the Claude directory, which 474 of 1,253 listings do (37.8%). That is a review step past self-publishing, not an Anthropic-built server.
In the publisher's words
Connect Claude to Miro to summarize existing boards or build new ones from scratch. Run sharper workshops, sprint planning, and product strategy sessions with Claude-generated layouts, frames, sticky notes, images, docs, diagrams, tables, and more. Key use cases: • Summarize and search boards: Drop a board URL into Claude to pull out themes, decisions, and open questions from retros, planning sessions, and strategy maps. Search across every board you have access to. • Build new boards from scratch: Generate ready-to-run layouts for retros, sprint planning, and product strategy with frames, sticky notes, cards, tables, docs, and images. • Bring research onto the canvas: Have Claude research a topic — competitors, user feedback, market trends, prior art — and lay the findings out on a fresh board as diagrams, sticky notes, tables, docs, and images, ready to share with your team. • Visualize complex ideas: Turn a prompt, PR, or spec into architecture, sequence-flow, ERD, or user-journey diagrams directly on the canvas. • Act on feedback agentically: Read and resolve comments, reply in-thread, and convert scattered team discussion into a clear list of action items right on the board.

This is an independent catalogue entry compiled by Node8 from Miro's public marketplace listings as they stood in August 2026. Listing facts come from the marketplaces; the comparisons against the rest of the directory and any live-endpoint measurements are Node8's. Node8 is not affiliated with Miro, and inclusion here is not an endorsement.
Node8 builds MCP servers end to end: deciding which tools are worth exposing, the authentication and permission model, the review submissions, and the onboarding that gets them used. One server serves ChatGPT, Claude, and Microsoft Copilot.
