Who it is for
People who want a working web app hosted on Replit without reading or writing the code themselves.
Overview
Replit's app builds a new web application in the account holder's own Replit account from a description given in ordinary language. Code is not printed into the conversation; the result lives in Replit.
After the first build, the same connection supports iteration. The current app's behaviour can be inspected and explained, and further change requests written in plain language and applied to that same app rather than to a fresh copy.
The example prompts extend into project management: locating existing Replit projects and summarising recent activity, opening a workspace and describing how an app is structured, and reviewing deployments for a project to flag problems.

Changes accumulate on one project across turns instead of regenerating an app each time.
Availability
Replit ships this on both marketplaces: Replit is listed in the Claude connectors directory and in the ChatGPT apps directory, under the same publisher domain.
Only 392 of the 3,150 products in this directory are listed in both marketplaces. One MCP server can serve both surfaces; what differs is each platform's listing and review process.

Claude listing
Replit publishes 5 tools to Claude, a deliberately narrow surface; only 22.3% of the 1,253 Claude-listed connectors expose fewer.
The median Claude-listed connector filed under Developer Tools publishes 13, so this one sits 8 tools below its bucket's median, 68th of 95.
It falls in the 4-6 tools band, which holds 16.2% of the Claude directory.
Replit publishes a remote MCP endpoint. Claude connects to it over HTTP; there is nothing to install locally.
Every connector in the Claude directory is remote, all 1,253 of them, so transport is not a differentiator there.
https://replit-mcp.com/anthropic/mcp Replit carries partner verification in the Claude directory, which 474 of 1,253 listings do (37.8%). That is a review step past self-publishing, not an Anthropic-built server.
In the publisher's words
Replit's MCP server lets users create, update, and manage full-stack web and mobile applications directly from Claude using natural language. Powered by Replit Agent, it transforms prompts into live, deployed apps — complete with databases, authentication, and custom domains. Users can iterate on their apps conversationally, ask the Agent questions about their project, and access a live preview URL as the app builds. No coding experience required. The server supports OAuth 2.0 authentication and Streamable HTTP transport, integrating seamlessly with Replit's cloud development platform.
Quoted from the connector's own Claude directory listing as captured in August 2026. Node8 did not write it and does not vouch for it.

This is an independent catalogue entry compiled by Node8 from Replit's public marketplace listings as they stood in August 2026. Listing facts come from the marketplaces; the comparisons against the rest of the directory and any live-endpoint measurements are Node8's. Node8 is not affiliated with Replit, and inclusion here is not an endorsement.
Node8 builds MCP servers end to end: deciding which tools are worth exposing, the authentication and permission model, the review submissions, and the onboarding that gets them used. One server serves ChatGPT, Claude, and Microsoft Copilot.
