Overview
What SentinelX does
SentinelX reaches Linux machines from ChatGPT without an SSH session. A small agent is installed on each host, after which the chat can run inspection commands, control systemd services, read, search and edit files, execute scripts, upload files, and call integrations including Cloudflare DNS, Resend, and Telegram.
The security model is an allowlist held per host and set by the operator. Commands and services outside the declared policy are refused at the agent boundary, and ordinary Linux file permissions still apply underneath. Several servers can be connected at once and labelled however the operator prefers.
The agent is open source at github.com/pensados/sentinelx-cloud-core. Sign-in is OAuth 2.0, with PKCE, dynamic client registration, and scoping applied per user. Named tasks include disk and uptime checks, service restarts, log tailing, nginx config edits, and DNS record changes.

SentinelX is listed in the ChatGPT apps directory only. PensaInfra has no connector under the same domain in the Claude directory; 392 of the 3,150 products here are on both marketplaces, and this is not one of them.
ChatGPT apps are built on MCP, and the same server can back a Claude connector, so the absence is a distribution decision rather than a technical one.
