Who it is for
Academic researchers looking for licensed datasets before a project gets under way.
Overview
Dewey Data puts dataset discovery for the Dewey Platform into a chat window. A question written in ordinary language returns dataset descriptions, summaries of what each one covers, the schema of its fields, and a sample that can be downloaded before committing to the whole file.
The platform aggregates more than thirty commercial data providers under a single subscription, so one search reaches sources that would otherwise be licensed separately.
It is built for academic researchers, and the stage it addresses is finding and assessing data rather than the analysis that follows. Dewey Data Inc. publishes the app.

Schemas and downloadable samples arrive with the search results, so a dataset can be judged before it is acquired.
Availability
Dewey Data is listed in the ChatGPT apps directory only. Dewey Data Inc. has no connector under the same domain in the Claude directory; 392 of the 3,150 products here are on both marketplaces, and this is not one of them.
ChatGPT apps are built on MCP, and the same server can back a Claude connector, so the absence is a distribution decision rather than a technical one.

This is an independent catalogue entry compiled by Node8 from Dewey Data's public marketplace listing as it stood in August 2026. Listing facts come from the marketplaces; the comparisons against the rest of the directory and any live-endpoint measurements are Node8's. Node8 is not affiliated with Dewey Data Inc., and inclusion here is not an endorsement.
Node8 builds MCP servers end to end: deciding which tools are worth exposing, the authentication and permission model, the review submissions, and the onboarding that gets them used. One server serves ChatGPT, Claude, and Microsoft Copilot.
