Who it is for
Researchers, writers and teachers who accumulate long-form material and return to it later.
Overview
Omphalis is a place to keep long material and the notes made about it. An article that is saved comes back with its structure laid out; a two-hour talk or a podcast episode is reduced to an outline of how it is put together.
Voice notes belong to the same library. A recording made on a walk sits next to the paper or book it relates to, so a note from months ago and a chapter read this week stay linked rather than filed apart.
The record frames the app around material that has to remain usable long after it was consumed, in writing, teaching, research, decision-making or reflection, and around tracking how a reader's own understanding of a subject shifted over time.
Researchers, writers and teachers who accumulate long-form material and return to it later.
Voice notes are treated as library items alongside articles and talks, not as a separate scratchpad.
Availability
Omphalis is listed in the ChatGPT apps directory only. Voxiven, LLC has no connector under the same domain in the Claude directory; 392 of the 3,150 products here are on both marketplaces, and this is not one of them.
ChatGPT apps are built on MCP, and the same server can back a Claude connector, so the absence is a distribution decision rather than a technical one.

This is an independent catalogue entry compiled by Node8 from Omphalis's public marketplace listing as it stood in August 2026. Listing facts come from the marketplaces; the comparisons against the rest of the directory and any live-endpoint measurements are Node8's. Node8 is not affiliated with Voxiven, LLC, and inclusion here is not an endorsement.
Node8 builds MCP servers end to end: deciding which tools are worth exposing, the authentication and permission model, the review submissions, and the onboarding that gets them used. One server serves ChatGPT, Claude, and Microsoft Copilot.
