Query Cube financial planning data through chat
Overview
The Cube connector opens a company's planning data to questions asked in conversation. Actuals, budgets, forecasts and variance figures can be queried live rather than exported first.
Beyond retrieval, the record describes generating board decks, running variance analysis, and assembling financial summaries from the numbers held in Cube. Transaction-level records and dimension breakdowns are reachable without leaving the chat.
Permissions carry over. Cube applies its role-based access control model to every request, so an account that cannot see a figure in the product will not see it here either. The security model is the same one already governing the underlying data.

The product's own access rules apply to every AI request, so the connector cannot widen what a given account may read.
Availability
Cube is listed in the ChatGPT apps directory only. Cube has no connector under the same domain in the Claude directory; 392 of the 3,150 products here are on both marketplaces, and this is not one of them.
ChatGPT apps are built on MCP, and the same server can back a Claude connector, so the absence is a distribution decision rather than a technical one.

This is an independent catalogue entry compiled by Node8 from Cube's public marketplace listing as it stood in August 2026. Listing facts come from the marketplaces; the comparisons against the rest of the directory and any live-endpoint measurements are Node8's. Node8 is not affiliated with Cube, and inclusion here is not an endorsement.
Node8 builds MCP servers end to end: deciding which tools are worth exposing, the authentication and permission model, the review submissions, and the onboarding that gets them used. One server serves ChatGPT, Claude, and Microsoft Copilot.
