Who it is for
A litigation support, compliance or records team already working inside Casepoint.
Read-only questions across Casepoint eDiscovery, legal hold and FOIA
Overview
Casepoint connects a legal team's existing workspace to ChatGPT so questions about active matters can be asked in conversation. The material covered spans eDiscovery, legal hold and FOIA records held in the connected Casepoint workspace or organisation.
Typical questions concern status: how far document review has progressed, which custodians are under hold and what the roster looks like, and when FOIA deadlines fall. Answers are drawn from the workspace itself, so the platform does not have to be opened for a status check.
Access is read-only and limited to the scope chosen at the moment the connection is made. The app reports on that data rather than changing it.

The connection is deliberately narrow: read-only, and scoped to whatever is selected when the workspace is linked.
Availability
Casepoint ships this on both marketplaces: Casepoint is listed in the Claude connectors directory and in the ChatGPT apps directory, under the same publisher domain.
Only 392 of the 3,150 products in this directory are listed in both marketplaces. One MCP server can serve both surfaces; what differs is each platform's listing and review process.

Claude listing
Casepoint publishes 11 tools to Claude. That is a mid-sized surface: 48% of the 1,253 Claude-listed connectors expose fewer.
That is exactly the median for Claude-listed connectors under Legal, where 33 publish counts and 11 is the middle of the distribution.
It falls in the 11-20 tools band, which holds 22.5% of the Claude directory.
Casepoint publishes a remote MCP endpoint. Claude connects to it over HTTP; there is nothing to install locally.
Every connector in the Claude directory is remote, all 1,253 of them, so transport is not a differentiator there.
https://platformapi.casepoint.com/connectors/mcp Casepoint is community-listed in the Claude directory, the tier 770 of 1,253 connectors sit in (61.5%). It is the default for a self-published server, and says nothing either way about quality.
In the publisher's words
Casepoint connects your legal and investigative data to Claude. Ask questions about active matters across eDiscovery, Legal Hold, and FOIA, and get clear answers drawn directly from your Casepoint workspace or organization. Check review status, hold status and rosters, and FOIA deadlines without opening the platform. Access is read-only and scoped to what you select when you connect.

This is an independent catalogue entry compiled by Node8 from Casepoint's public marketplace listings as they stood in August 2026. Listing facts come from the marketplaces; the comparisons against the rest of the directory and any live-endpoint measurements are Node8's. Node8 is not affiliated with Casepoint, and inclusion here is not an endorsement.
Node8 builds MCP servers end to end: deciding which tools are worth exposing, the authentication and permission model, the review submissions, and the onboarding that gets them used. One server serves ChatGPT, Claude, and Microsoft Copilot.
