What Airtasker does
Airtasker is a marketplace pairing people who need a job done with people willing to do it, and the app covers both sides. A customer describes the work, posts it, reads the offers that come back from taskers nearby, and assigns one, all inside the conversation.
Working the other direction, taskers can look through jobs posted in their area, make offers while out and about, and get help writing those offers more clearly. Job types named include cleaning, removals, furniture assembly, gardening, deliveries, and general odd jobs.
