Price history and email alerts for tracked products
Overview
Pricey follows the cost of specific products over time. A product can be pulled up with its past pricing, and an alert set to fire when the price falls to a chosen level.
Alerts arrive by email rather than in the chat. Setting one up takes three things supplied in conversation: a product link, a target price, and an email address. Naming the app in a message is how a request gets routed to it.
The two functions are narrow, and that is the whole offer: reading price history for a product, and being told when a discount lands. Buying is not part of it.
Shoppers waiting for a discount on a particular item rather than browsing for one.
Alerts go out by email, so a price drop reaches the shopper with no chat open.
Availability
Pricey- monitor+history+alerts is listed in the ChatGPT apps directory only. Widget has no connector under the same domain in the Claude directory; 392 of the 3,150 products here are on both marketplaces, and this is not one of them.
ChatGPT apps are built on MCP, and the same server can back a Claude connector, so the absence is a distribution decision rather than a technical one.

This is an independent catalogue entry compiled by Node8 from Pricey- monitor+history+alerts's public marketplace listing as it stood in August 2026. Listing facts come from the marketplaces; the comparisons against the rest of the directory and any live-endpoint measurements are Node8's. Node8 is not affiliated with Widget, and inclusion here is not an endorsement.
Node8 builds MCP servers end to end: deciding which tools are worth exposing, the authentication and permission model, the review submissions, and the onboarding that gets them used. One server serves ChatGPT, Claude, and Microsoft Copilot.
