Who it is for
ClickUp users who spend their day answering status questions about work already tracked there.
Search and act on ClickUp work items in chat
Overview
The ClickUp connector covers both halves of working with a task tracker: finding things and changing them. Questions are asked in ordinary language and answered from across the workspace, without first narrowing to a particular list or folder.
Actions follow in the same exchange. Work items can be created, updated, and managed at the point the answer arrives, so a question about status can turn into an edit without a separate step.
The listing frames the value as removing context switching, and the sample prompt is diagnostic rather than administrative: asking whether a named sprint is at risk. That implies reading across task state instead of fetching one record.

Search and write actions share one flow, so a lookup can end in an update to the same item.
Availability
ClickUp ships this on both marketplaces: ClickUp is listed in the Claude connectors directory and in the ChatGPT apps directory, under the same publisher domain.
Only 392 of the 3,150 products in this directory are listed in both marketplaces. One MCP server can serve both surfaces; what differs is each platform's listing and review process.

Claude listing
ClickUp publishes 35 tools to Claude, deeper than 84.6% of the 1,253 Claude-listed connectors.
The median Claude-listed connector filed under Productivity publishes 12, so this one runs 23 tools above its bucket's median and ranks 75th of 462 by tool count.
It falls in the 21-50 tools band, which holds 20% of the Claude directory.
ClickUp publishes a remote MCP endpoint. Claude connects to it over HTTP; there is nothing to install locally.
Every connector in the Claude directory is remote, all 1,253 of them, so transport is not a differentiator there.
https://mcp.clickup.com/mcp ClickUp carries partner verification in the Claude directory, which 474 of 1,253 listings do (37.8%). That is a review step past self-publishing, not an Anthropic-built server.

This is an independent catalogue entry compiled by Node8 from ClickUp's public marketplace listings as they stood in August 2026. Listing facts come from the marketplaces; the comparisons against the rest of the directory and any live-endpoint measurements are Node8's. Node8 is not affiliated with ClickUp, and inclusion here is not an endorsement.
Node8 builds MCP servers end to end: deciding which tools are worth exposing, the authentication and permission model, the review submissions, and the onboarding that gets them used. One server serves ChatGPT, Claude, and Microsoft Copilot.
