Who it is for
Editors, writers, and reviewers who need to see exactly what changed between two drafts.
Side by side text diff with change statistics
Overview
Compare Text puts two versions of a piece of writing next to each other and marks what differs. Additions appear in green, removals in red, and text that has not moved is left plain, so the shape of an edit is visible at a glance.
Alongside the marked up view it reports counts of additions, deletions, and modifications between the two versions. That turns a vague sense that something changed into a number.
The intended cases are review work: checking edits to a draft, comparing successive versions of a document, or confirming what an earlier revision altered.
Editors, writers, and reviewers who need to see exactly what changed between two drafts.
It reports counts of additions, deletions, and modifications alongside the highlighted comparison.
Availability
Compare Text is listed in the ChatGPT apps directory only. Fractal AI has no connector under the same domain in the Claude directory; 392 of the 3,150 products here are on both marketplaces, and this is not one of them.
ChatGPT apps are built on MCP, and the same server can back a Claude connector, so the absence is a distribution decision rather than a technical one.

This is an independent catalogue entry compiled by Node8 from Compare Text's public marketplace listing as it stood in August 2026. Listing facts come from the marketplaces; the comparisons against the rest of the directory and any live-endpoint measurements are Node8's. Node8 is not affiliated with Fractal AI, and inclusion here is not an endorsement.
Node8 builds MCP servers end to end: deciding which tools are worth exposing, the authentication and permission model, the review submissions, and the onboarding that gets them used. One server serves ChatGPT, Claude, and Microsoft Copilot.
