Who it is for
Writers, researchers and others who worry about their own reasoning settling into the model's default.
Persistent thinking rules and a personal insight graph
Overview
DotSpark sets a standing instruction, called a Thinking Shield, that the assistant reads at the start of a conversation and holds to for the rest of it. The stated intent is an assistant that pushes back before agreeing and asks the person to reason first, so the wording and the conclusions stay theirs.
Alongside that, the app records what falls out of the session. Individual insights are stored as dots, links between them as sparks, and a periodic reading of thinking patterns sits over both, building a personal graph over time.
The developer's framing is that none of this feeds back into making the model better informed about the person using it. The captured signal points at self-knowledge instead.

It pairs a session-long behavioral instruction with a stored graph of the ideas that came out of following it.
Availability
DotSpark is listed in the ChatGPT apps directory only. Aravindh Rajendran has no connector under the same domain in the Claude directory; 392 of the 3,150 products here are on both marketplaces, and this is not one of them.
ChatGPT apps are built on MCP, and the same server can back a Claude connector, so the absence is a distribution decision rather than a technical one.

This is an independent catalogue entry compiled by Node8 from DotSpark's public marketplace listing as it stood in August 2026. Listing facts come from the marketplaces; the comparisons against the rest of the directory and any live-endpoint measurements are Node8's. Node8 is not affiliated with Aravindh Rajendran, and inclusion here is not an endorsement.
Node8 builds MCP servers end to end: deciding which tools are worth exposing, the authentication and permission model, the review submissions, and the onboarding that gets them used. One server serves ChatGPT, Claude, and Microsoft Copilot.
