What draw.io does
draw.io renders a diagram inline in the conversation, interactive rather than as an image, and opens it in the full editor with one click. No account or sign-up is involved. Input is either Mermaid syntax or native draw.io XML, and the server applies automatic graph layout with obstacle-avoiding connector routing rather than leaving elements where they were declared.
Shape search covers the draw.io library, including AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Kubernetes, Cisco, electrical and P&ID sets, so a technical diagram uses the real symbols. Two tools are claimed and two were observed.
Tool surface
Two observed tools and no persistence: create_diagram renders XML or Mermaid, search_shapes returns style strings from the shape library. Nothing stores, retrieves or edits a diagram after it is drawn.
