## What ExpenseBot does

ExpenseBot reads receipts and writes them down. A photo or PDF dropped into the conversation is parsed for vendor, date, amount, tax and category, and a row is appended to the user's Google Sheet, with the developer citing a turnaround inside thirty seconds.

Reporting sits on top of those rows. A question about spending over a period can come back as a per-tag profit and loss showing revenue, cost, margin and profit, and a quarterly report can be assembled and emailed to an accountant.

Access is split into scopes approved during OAuth consent: reading expenses, submitting them from photos, PDFs, cash, mileage or income, scanning Gmail for missed receipts, reading and writing reports, and running compliance and deductibility checks. The app processes no payments, and a separate ExpenseBot account is needed before connecting.
