What Is It Down? Availability Check does
This app tests whether a public website responds and reports the result in ordinary words. A full address works, and so does the name of the site.
Rather than returning a single verdict, it separates causes that look identical from the outside: a site can be offline for everyone, blocked for one person, slow because it is busy, or unreachable because of a local connection, a VPN or a firewall. When the site does answer, the app helps work through what else might explain a page that will not load.
Honesty about limits is stated explicitly. If a check cannot be completed for technical reasons, or the evidence does not support a conclusion, it says so instead of guessing. No technical background is expected of the person asking, and answers stay short unless more detail is requested.
