Who it is for
People who would rather listen to long articles, documents, and chat output than read them.
Convert text, links, and PDFs into podcast audio
Overview
Listen Later takes material out of a chat and turns it into audio. Text approved by the user, web addresses, and PDF files are passed to the service, converted to podcast audio, then delivered to that user's own Listen Later feed.
Because the feed is the delivery mechanism, finished audio shows up in a podcast player rather than as a file in the conversation.
Sending is explicit. The record is specific that the text handed over is user-approved, which leaves the decision about what leaves the chat with the person using it. Nothing in the listing describes voice options, length limits, or editing after conversion.
People who would rather listen to long articles, documents, and chat output than read them.
Output lands in a personal podcast feed, so it plays back through an ordinary podcast app.
Availability
Listen Later is listed in the ChatGPT apps directory only. Maybe Later LLC has no connector under the same domain in the Claude directory; 392 of the 3,150 products here are on both marketplaces, and this is not one of them.
ChatGPT apps are built on MCP, and the same server can back a Claude connector, so the absence is a distribution decision rather than a technical one.

This is an independent catalogue entry compiled by Node8 from Listen Later's public marketplace listing as it stood in August 2026. Listing facts come from the marketplaces; the comparisons against the rest of the directory and any live-endpoint measurements are Node8's. Node8 is not affiliated with Maybe Later LLC, and inclusion here is not an endorsement.
Node8 builds MCP servers end to end: deciding which tools are worth exposing, the authentication and permission model, the review submissions, and the onboarding that gets them used. One server serves ChatGPT, Claude, and Microsoft Copilot.
