Who it is for
Product managers, designers, and researchers whose team already runs studies in Maze.
Look up Maze research studies, sessions, and participant results
Overview
Maze connects an existing research account so that studies can be queried from a conversation. A study can be located by subject when its exact name is not remembered, which matters in accounts that have accumulated many rounds of testing.
Session data comes back in several forms: individual participant responses, task metrics, and the highlights and themes recorded from both moderated and unmoderated sessions. Recordings and transcripts can be retrieved when a summary is not enough and the raw material needs reading.
The uses named in the record are assembling evidence behind a product decision, preparing a synthesis ahead of a design review, and working through studies that have gone unreviewed.

Search works by topic rather than by exact study title, which suits accounts with a long testing history.
Availability
Maze ships this on both marketplaces: Maze is listed in the Claude connectors directory and in the ChatGPT apps directory, under the same publisher domain.
Only 392 of the 3,150 products in this directory are listed in both marketplaces. One MCP server can serve both surfaces; what differs is each platform's listing and review process.

Claude listing
Maze publishes 9 tools to Claude. That is a mid-sized surface: 41.3% of the 1,253 Claude-listed connectors expose fewer.
The median Claude-listed connector filed under Productivity publishes 12, so this one sits 3 tools below its bucket's median, 266th of 462.
It falls in the 7-10 tools band, which holds 14.6% of the Claude directory.
Maze publishes a remote MCP endpoint. Claude connects to it over HTTP; there is nothing to install locally.
Every connector in the Claude directory is remote, all 1,253 of them, so transport is not a differentiator there.
https://connect.maze.co/mcp Maze is community-listed in the Claude directory, the tier 770 of 1,253 connectors sit in (61.5%). It is the default for a self-published server, and says nothing either way about quality.
In the publisher's words
Connect Maze to look up research studies, review session results, and surface user insights without leaving the workflow. Find studies by topic even when the study name is unknown, go through participant responses and task metrics, retrieve highlights and themes from moderated and unmoderated sessions, and pull recordings or transcripts for deeper analysis. Useful for pulling evidence for a product decision, synthesizing research before a design review, or catching up on studies that have not been reviewed yet.

This is an independent catalogue entry compiled by Node8 from Maze's public marketplace listings as they stood in August 2026. Listing facts come from the marketplaces; the comparisons against the rest of the directory and any live-endpoint measurements are Node8's. Node8 is not affiliated with Maze, and inclusion here is not an endorsement.
Node8 builds MCP servers end to end: deciding which tools are worth exposing, the authentication and permission model, the review submissions, and the onboarding that gets them used. One server serves ChatGPT, Claude, and Microsoft Copilot.
