What Parallel does
Parallel connects a company's financial plan to ChatGPT, Claude, or any other MCP-compatible assistant, so the model can be questioned directly instead of being exported into a spreadsheet first.
The server publishes the planning surface as discrete tools: profit and loss, forecasts for revenue and expenses, hiring plans and headcount, monthly reports, and the assumptions underneath the model. An assistant can pull the specific figures a question needs, set scenarios against each other, or summarize where the business is heading.
Access is read-only and runs over OAuth. Scope is chosen at connection time and can be withdrawn later. The assistant reports on the plan but has no ability to change it.
