Search and summarize a voice recording library
Overview
Plaud links a library of voice recordings to ChatGPT so the contents can be reached in conversation. Recordings can be searched by what was said in them, and particular details can be pulled out without replaying the audio to find the moment.
The app also produces summaries and other written artifacts from recordings, and can draw together points that appear across the whole collection rather than in a single file. The record describes work with recordings that already exist. It does not mention capturing new audio through ChatGPT, so the app reads and interprets a library rather than adding to it. Plaud Inc. is the developer.

Questions can range over an entire recording library at once, not just one file.
Availability
Plaud is listed in both the Claude connectors directory and the ChatGPT apps directory. The two listings do not state the same publisher domain, so they are matched here by product name, with Plaud publishing the Claude listing and Plaud Inc. the ChatGPT one.
Only 392 of the 3,150 products in this directory are listed in both marketplaces. One MCP server can serve both surfaces; what differs is each platform's listing and review process.

Claude listing
Plaud publishes 5 tools to Claude, a deliberately narrow surface; only 22.3% of the 1,253 Claude-listed connectors expose fewer.
The median Claude-listed connector filed under Productivity publishes 12, so this one sits 7 tools below its bucket's median, 336th of 462.
It falls in the 4-6 tools band, which holds 16.2% of the Claude directory.
Plaud publishes a remote MCP endpoint. Claude connects to it over HTTP; there is nothing to install locally.
Every connector in the Claude directory is remote, all 1,253 of them, so transport is not a differentiator there.
https://mcp.plaud.ai/mcp Plaud carries partner verification in the Claude directory, which 474 of 1,253 listings do (37.8%). That is a review step past self-publishing, not an Anthropic-built server.

This is an independent catalogue entry compiled by Node8 from Plaud's public marketplace listings as they stood in August 2026. Listing facts come from the marketplaces; the comparisons against the rest of the directory and any live-endpoint measurements are Node8's. Node8 is not affiliated with Plaud, and inclusion here is not an endorsement.
Node8 builds MCP servers end to end: deciding which tools are worth exposing, the authentication and permission model, the review submissions, and the onboarding that gets them used. One server serves ChatGPT, Claude, and Microsoft Copilot.
