Who it is for
Release managers and engineers doing a final check before notes go out.
Compare change lists against drafted release notes
Overview
This plugin takes two piles of text supplied in the same request: a record of what changed, and the notes written to describe it. The change input can be a delivery report, commit summaries, a change list, or test results.
It pulls structured items out of the first set, then matches them against the second. Output sorts each change into covered, absent, or described in a way that conflicts with the underlying work, with quoted evidence attached so a reviewer can check the call.
Scope is deliberately narrow. Nothing outside the current message is read: no repository access, no test execution, no confirmation that the code does what a note claims. It will not rewrite the notes or publish a release.

It reports only on text pasted into the conversation, with no repository or CI connection.
Availability
Release Notes Coverage Checker is listed in the ChatGPT apps directory only. BEIKE YAN has no connector under the same domain in the Claude directory; 392 of the 3,150 products here are on both marketplaces, and this is not one of them.
ChatGPT apps are built on MCP, and the same server can back a Claude connector, so the absence is a distribution decision rather than a technical one.

This is an independent catalogue entry compiled by Node8 from Release Notes Coverage Checker's public marketplace listing as it stood in August 2026. Listing facts come from the marketplaces; the comparisons against the rest of the directory and any live-endpoint measurements are Node8's. Node8 is not affiliated with BEIKE YAN, and inclusion here is not an endorsement.
Node8 builds MCP servers end to end: deciding which tools are worth exposing, the authentication and permission model, the review submissions, and the onboarding that gets them used. One server serves ChatGPT, Claude, and Microsoft Copilot.
