UseMyContext.ai

Read-only personal context with cited document answers

Listed in ChatGPT and Claude · 8 published tools · Community-listed

Overview

What UseMyContext.ai does

UseMyContext supplies ChatGPT with a stored picture of the person it is talking to. That includes a compiled profile, separate work and personal versions of it, documents the account holder has uploaded, and context that other people have chosen to share.

Uploaded documents can be read with citations back to the source, and tables inside them queried for exact values rather than summarized loosely.

Almost every tool here is a read. The single exception files a suggested change, which stays pending until the account holder reviews it on the UseMyContext website. No profile or file can be altered from within the chat itself.

Who it is for

Someone who wants ChatGPT to start from their own documents and profile without granting it write access.

What stands out

The write path is deliberately blocked: changes can only be proposed, and confirmation happens on the vendor site.

Where UseMyContext.ai is listed

UseMyContext.ai ships this on both marketplaces: UseMyContext.ai is listed in the Claude connectors directory and in the ChatGPT apps directory, under the same publisher domain.

Only 392 of the 3,150 products in this directory are listed in both marketplaces. One MCP server can serve both surfaces; what differs is each platform's listing and review process.

In the publisher's words

How UseMyContext.ai describes it

UseMyContext is your private, portable personal context layer. Write down who you are once - your role, projects, preferences, and files - and Claude reads it on demand, so you never re-introduce yourself at the start of every conversation. Connect once and Claude can: - Read your compiled profile: a compact, curated summary of who you are, built only from facts you have accepted. - List and search your files, and read a file's full extracted text. - Answer questions from your documents with cited passages (ask_docs), so responses are grounded in your own material. - Run exact counts, sums, filters, and grouped totals over a CSV or spreadsheet table (query_table) deterministic answers, not estimates. - Read context that others have deliberately shared with you: a person's shared profile, a public @handle, or a teammate's context on a Team plan. - Suggest updates to your profile as it learns about you. Suggestions are saved as pending items for you to review - nothing is ever written to your profile or files without your approval. You stay in control. You curate what is in your context, review everything an AI proposes to remember, and can revoke access at any time. The service is structurally blind by design: the public-facing surface physically cannot read your file content, and your data lives on an isolated, per-user data plane. Each user's context is their own - one account, multiple projects, each with its own profile and files. Works with a free account. Premium adds more projects and storage; Team adds a shared team context. Sign up at usemycontext.ai, add a few facts or upload a file, and connect.
