WalkMyPlan — AI Home Design & 3D Floor Plans

Describe a home and get a 3D floor plan you can walk through

Listed in Claude · 40 published tools · Community-listed

Overview

What WalkMyPlan — AI Home Design & 3D Floor Plans does

WalkMyPlan turns a plain description of a house into a real floor plan. The listing's example is deliberately unarchitectural: two children's bedrooms, a master with its own bathroom, a guest bathroom, an open kitchen and dining room, a garden.

What gets built includes walls, doors, windows, named rooms, furniture, garden trees and a pool, delivered as a live link that opens in 3D. A sketch button flips it to an editable 2D plan for dragging walls and moving doors, or changes can be described in conversation instead. L-shapes, courtyards and covered patios are supported. DWG and PDF plans convert too. Community tier.

Who it is for

People designing or converting home floor plans without architectural vocabulary.

The endpoint asks for credentials before naming anything, so forty is the publisher's figure. Plan generation, editing and DWG or PDF conversion are the described operations.

Where WalkMyPlan — AI Home Design & 3D Floor Plans is listed

WalkMyPlan — AI Home Design & 3D Floor Plans is listed in the Claude connectors directory only. WalkMyPlan has no app under the same domain in the ChatGPT directory; 392 of the 3,150 products here are on both marketplaces, and this is not one of them.

The MCP server behind a Claude connector is usually the same server a ChatGPT app would need, so the absence is a distribution decision rather than a technical one.

In the publisher's words

How WalkMyPlan describes it

Describe the home you want — "two kids' bedrooms, a master bedroom with its own bathroom, a guest bathroom, an open kitchen and dining room, and a garden" — and Claude designs the floor plan, then WalkMyPlan builds it in one call: real walls, doors, windows, named rooms, furniture and garden trees, even a pool. Open the live link and walk through it in 3D. No architect vocabulary needed — say it the way you'd say it out loud. Want an L-shape, a courtyard or a covered patio? Those work too. The link opens the house in 3D, and a Sketch button flips it to the editable 2D plan — drag walls, move doors, redraw a room by hand, and the 3D updates. Or just say what you want changed. "Make the living room bigger." "Put a TV on the north wall." Every room carries a number on the plan and a compass marks north, so "widen room 3" lands exactly — or drop a pin in the viewer and say "put the front door there". Furniture placement is automatic: it finds a free spot, away from doorways. Every edit lands in a revision history you can undo or roll back to any point. Edits are for visualization and planning; WalkMyPlan does not check structural safety or building codes. Ask about what you built. "How big is the kitchen?", "Is there room for a double bed in the small bedroom?" Answers are measured from the model's real geometry. Share a plan privately with named people as viewers or editors, or with a link. See who changed what, when. Already have a floor plan? The same private link takes your architect's DWG or vector PDF, up to 100MB, and converts it into the same editable, walkable 3D model. Great for home design, interior design, room planning, renovation, and planning a build. Your plans stay private to your account unless you share them, are never used to train AI models, and can be deleted any time (trash keeps them recoverable for 30 days). Try: "Build me a three-bedroom house with a master bedroom, a guest bathroom and a garden" — then "walk me through it."
