## What ProofX does

ProofX, from CyberSec AI Ltd, registers a piece of writing and returns cryptographic evidence that it existed in that exact form. Articles, poems, scripts, and source code are named in the record as material it will sign.

Three lookups run alongside registration: checking whether a given content ID or hash is on file, opening a creator profile with the history of what that person has registered, and retrieving the digital fingerprint of a piece of content.

Using it takes an account, created free at proofx.co.uk. A request in conversation then produces a verification link that a third party can open. The record puts the user base at more than 300 creators, among them photographers, writers, journalists, and musicians.
