EV trip planning with charging stops and realistic range
Overview
EVRoutes puts the planning engine behind evroutes.com into a conversation. A full road trip can be planned with optimised charging stops, the actual road polyline, and a breakdown of time and battery state along the way. Public fast chargers can be searched near any location, and remaining range calculated from a physics model that accounts for temperature, wind, weather, speed, elevation, and battery age rather than quoting a rated figure.
A vehicle picker covers a catalogue the listing puts at over two hundred EVs. Results render as chat widgets with Mapbox maps and range cards. No account or API key is needed, which the openly listable endpoint bears out.

Four tools that chain in a defined order: calculateRange sets a realistic radius, findChargersInRange consumes it, planRouteChargers runs the full route, and searchVehicles exists to pin down which car is being modelled.
Availability
EVRoutes is listed in the Claude connectors directory only. EVRoutes has no app under the same domain in the ChatGPT directory; 392 of the 3,150 products here are on both marketplaces, and this is not one of them.
The MCP server behind a Claude connector is usually the same server a ChatGPT app would need, so the absence is a distribution decision rather than a technical one.
Claude listing
EVRoutes publishes 4 tools to Claude, a deliberately narrow surface; only 17.2% of the 1,253 Claude-listed connectors expose fewer.
The median Claude-listed connector filed under Travel publishes 3, so this one runs one tool above its bucket's median and ranks 8th of 23 by tool count.
It falls in the 4-6 tools band, which holds 16.2% of the Claude directory.
A direct call to the endpoint returned 4 tools, matching the 4 the listing publishes. Probed 2026-08-07.
calculateRangefindChargersInRangeplanRouteChargerssearchVehiclesEVRoutes publishes a remote MCP endpoint. Claude connects to it over HTTP; there is nothing to install locally.
Every connector in the Claude directory is remote, all 1,253 of them, so transport is not a differentiator there.
https://evroutes-mcp-a025efa4.alpic.live/mcp EVRoutes is community-listed in the Claude directory, the tier 770 of 1,253 connectors sit in (61.5%). It is the default for a self-published server, and says nothing either way about quality.
In the publisher's words
EVRoutes brings the trip-planning engine behind evroutes.com into Claude. Plan a full EV road trip with optimized charging stops, route polyline, and a time and battery breakdown; search public fast chargers near any place; calculate realistic range using a physics-based model that accounts for temperature, speed, weather, wind, elevation, and battery age; and browse a catalog of 200+ EVs through an interactive picker. Everything renders as native chat widgets with maps and range cards using Mapbox. No account or API key needed.

This is an independent catalogue entry compiled by Node8 from EVRoutes's public marketplace listing as it stood in August 2026. Listing facts come from the marketplaces; the comparisons against the rest of the directory and any live-endpoint measurements are Node8's. Node8 is not affiliated with EVRoutes, and inclusion here is not an endorsement.
Node8 builds MCP servers end to end: deciding which tools are worth exposing, the authentication and permission model, the review submissions, and the onboarding that gets them used. One server serves ChatGPT, Claude, and Microsoft Copilot.
