What Fridey does
Fridey keeps trip itineraries and their costs in one record, and the app exposes that account to ChatGPT once it is linked. Past and upcoming trips can be listed, and a new one created with a destination, a date range, and a cover image.
Within a trip, entries cover flights, accommodation, restaurants, transport, and other activities, each of which can be edited or removed later. Spending is tracked alongside, with summaries broken out by currency.
Commands are phrased plainly: creating a Tokyo trip for set dates, adding a hotel check-in on a given day, asking what a trip has cost so far. Destination search is included for the earlier, undecided stage. Fridey also runs on iOS, Android, and the web.
