Who it is for
Frequent travellers who prefer to sort mobile data before leaving home.
Prepaid data eSIM plans for more than 200 countries
Overview
IbiPoint matches a trip to a prepaid data eSIM. Naming a destination returns plans in two shapes, a Data Pack or an Unlimited Flex option, each listed with its price, the network details behind it, and a Transparency rating the app assigns.
Purchase happens on the IbiPoint shop once a plan is picked, and the eSIM then arrives by email. There is no separate app to install and no physical SIM to swap, and because the data is bought up front there is no roaming bill to settle afterwards.
Coverage spans over 200 countries. Andreas Helfensteller is the developer.

Each plan carries a Transparency rating next to its price and network information.
Availability
IbiPoint — prepaid data eSIMs is listed in the ChatGPT apps directory only. Andreas Helfensteller has no connector under the same domain in the Claude directory; 392 of the 3,150 products here are on both marketplaces, and this is not one of them.
ChatGPT apps are built on MCP, and the same server can back a Claude connector, so the absence is a distribution decision rather than a technical one.

This is an independent catalogue entry compiled by Node8 from IbiPoint — prepaid data eSIMs's public marketplace listing as it stood in August 2026. Listing facts come from the marketplaces; the comparisons against the rest of the directory and any live-endpoint measurements are Node8's. Node8 is not affiliated with Andreas Helfensteller, and inclusion here is not an endorsement.
Node8 builds MCP servers end to end: deciding which tools are worth exposing, the authentication and permission model, the review submissions, and the onboarding that gets them used. One server serves ChatGPT, Claude, and Microsoft Copilot.
