Who it is for
Price-led flyers comparing carriers, and travellers with flexible dates or an undecided destination.
Flight price comparison across airlines and travel providers
Overview
Skyscanner gathers fares from airlines and travel sellers into one set of results, so flights and the costs around them can be judged together. A search can run from a named origin to a specific destination, or with the destination left open.
Skyscanner does not take the booking. Once a flight is chosen, the transaction happens with the airline or agent selling it. Sample queries in the record include a weekend trip from San Francisco to Seattle and finding the cheapest April date to fly from New York to Cancun.

Date-flexible questions, such as which day in a given month is cheapest, are part of what it answers.

Skyscanner is listed in the ChatGPT apps directory only. Skyscanner Limited has no connector under the same domain in the Claude directory; 392 of the 3,150 products here are on both marketplaces, and this is not one of them.
ChatGPT apps are built on MCP, and the same server can back a Claude connector, so the absence is a distribution decision rather than a technical one.

This is an independent catalogue entry compiled by Node8 from Skyscanner's public marketplace listing as it stood in August 2026. Listing facts come from the marketplaces; the comparisons against the rest of the directory and any live-endpoint measurements are Node8's. Node8 is not affiliated with Skyscanner Limited, and inclusion here is not an endorsement.
Node8 builds MCP servers end to end: deciding which tools are worth exposing, the authentication and permission model, the review submissions, and the onboarding that gets them used. One server serves ChatGPT, Claude, and Microsoft Copilot.
