Who it is for
People following the .agent namespace who want to check a member record or a certificate, or reserve a proposed name.
Overview
Agent Community is a registry project attached to a proposed .agent top-level domain. The app answers a narrow set of questions: whether a specific member exists, given an exact name or slug, roughly how many members the community has at the moment, and whether a DMV certificate was genuinely issued.
Searching the directory in general terms is deliberately out of scope, so lookups need the exact identifier. Pre-registering a proposed .agent identity costs nothing and commits nobody. It grants no ownership of the name, and the .agent TLD itself has not been approved by ICANN.
People following the .agent namespace who want to check a member record or a certificate, or reserve a proposed name.
The record is unusually explicit about what registration does not confer, including any claim on a name ICANN has yet to approve.
Availability
Agent Community is listed in the ChatGPT apps directory only. Open Agent Registry, Inc has no connector under the same domain in the Claude directory; 392 of the 3,150 products here are on both marketplaces, and this is not one of them.
ChatGPT apps are built on MCP, and the same server can back a Claude connector, so the absence is a distribution decision rather than a technical one.

This is an independent catalogue entry compiled by Node8 from Agent Community's public marketplace listing as it stood in August 2026. Listing facts come from the marketplaces; the comparisons against the rest of the directory and any live-endpoint measurements are Node8's. Node8 is not affiliated with Open Agent Registry, Inc, and inclusion here is not an endorsement.
Node8 builds MCP servers end to end: deciding which tools are worth exposing, the authentication and permission model, the review submissions, and the onboarding that gets them used. One server serves ChatGPT, Claude, and Microsoft Copilot.
