Who it is for
Developers building assistants that need to remember across sessions.
Overview
Mem0 stores facts a model would otherwise lose when a session ends. The connector writes user preferences, project context, and prior conversation detail into that store, then searches it, updates entries as circumstances change, and deletes what no longer holds.
Memories are scoped by user, agent, or session, so a coding assistant's record of a codebase convention stays separate from a support agent's record of a customer history. The service is cloud-hosted with no local installation. Eleven tools are published under the partner tier, and the endpoint requires an account before it will respond, which is expected of a store holding one tenant's accumulated context.

The eleven tools stay unnamed behind an authentication check, so the store, search, update, and forget cycle set out in the description cannot be matched against actual tool definitions.
Availability
Mem0 is listed in the Claude connectors directory only. Mem0 has no app under the same domain in the ChatGPT directory; 392 of the 3,150 products here are on both marketplaces, and this is not one of them.
The MCP server behind a Claude connector is usually the same server a ChatGPT app would need, so the absence is a distribution decision rather than a technical one.
Claude listing
Mem0 publishes 11 tools to Claude. That is a mid-sized surface: 48% of the 1,253 Claude-listed connectors expose fewer.
The median Claude-listed connector filed under Developer Tools publishes 13, so this one sits 2 tools below its bucket's median, 51st of 95.
It falls in the 11-20 tools band, which holds 22.5% of the Claude directory.
Mem0 publishes a remote MCP endpoint. Claude connects to it over HTTP; there is nothing to install locally.
Every connector in the Claude directory is remote, all 1,253 of them, so transport is not a differentiator there.
https://mcp.mem0.ai/mcp Mem0 carries partner verification in the Claude directory, which 474 of 1,253 listings do (37.8%). That is a review step past self-publishing, not an Anthropic-built server.
In the publisher's words
Connect Mem0 to Claude to give your agent persistent memory across sessions. Claude can store user preferences, project context, and conversation history, then search, update, or forget them as new information comes in. Useful for coding assistants that remember your codebase conventions, support agents that recall customer history, research workflows that build context over weeks, or any use case where Claude resets back to zero today. Memories are scoped per user, agent, or session. Cloud-hosted, no local install.

This is an independent catalogue entry compiled by Node8 from Mem0's public marketplace listing as it stood in August 2026. Listing facts come from the marketplaces; the comparisons against the rest of the directory and any live-endpoint measurements are Node8's. Node8 is not affiliated with Mem0, and inclusion here is not an endorsement.
Node8 builds MCP servers end to end: deciding which tools are worth exposing, the authentication and permission model, the review submissions, and the onboarding that gets them used. One server serves ChatGPT, Claude, and Microsoft Copilot.
