Who it is for
People whose notes live in local files rather than a hosted service.
Search and edit local notes through a desktop app
Overview
Miyo reaches a notes collection held on a local machine, working through a companion desktop application that has been connected to ChatGPT. Searching the notes and the wider knowledge base returns matches from files kept on that machine.
Full files can be read, folders browsed, and the set of indexed files inspected. Writing is supported as well: new files can be created in local folders, and existing ones edited. Reading and writing run over the same connection, so a file can be found, opened, and changed without moving to another tool.
Access depends on the desktop app being connected. The developer is Brevilabs.

Availability
Miyo is listed in the ChatGPT apps directory only. Brevilabs LLC has no connector under the same domain in the Claude directory; 392 of the 3,150 products here are on both marketplaces, and this is not one of them.
ChatGPT apps are built on MCP, and the same server can back a Claude connector, so the absence is a distribution decision rather than a technical one.

This is an independent catalogue entry compiled by Node8 from Miyo's public marketplace listing as it stood in August 2026. Listing facts come from the marketplaces; the comparisons against the rest of the directory and any live-endpoint measurements are Node8's. Node8 is not affiliated with Brevilabs LLC, and inclusion here is not an endorsement.
Node8 builds MCP servers end to end: deciding which tools are worth exposing, the authentication and permission model, the review submissions, and the onboarding that gets them used. One server serves ChatGPT, Claude, and Microsoft Copilot.
