What Native Soil does
Native Soil captures the working state of a conversation, meaning the decisions reached, the context built up, and the plan agreed, then stores it so it can be reopened elsewhere. A saved state can be loaded in a different model, client, or provider.
The cases it addresses are switching tools mid task, running into a context limit, and returning after a break, each of which otherwise means explaining the situation again from the start.
Every save is verified before it is kept, and secrets and private data are removed before storage. Two commands drive it: soil save writes the state, soil load restores it.
