Who it is for
People who record meetings in Otter.ai and need to refer back to what was said.
Search meeting transcripts, summaries, and action items
Overview
The Otter.ai MCP server brings a meeting archive into ChatGPT. Transcripts, summaries, action items, and metadata about each meeting are all retrievable. A search can be narrowed by keyword, by date range, by who attended, or by the folder or channel a recording sits in, and the full transcript can then be fetched with speakers attributed.
Most uses are backward looking: checking what was said before a follow-up, locating a decision made weeks earlier, or pulling a theme out of several recordings at once. Both personal accounts and enterprise Otter.ai workspaces are supported.

Search accepts several filters at once, including attendee and folder, and transcripts return with speaker attribution intact.
Availability
Otter.ai ships this on both marketplaces: Otter.ai is listed in the Claude connectors directory and in the ChatGPT apps directory, under the same publisher domain.
Only 392 of the 3,150 products in this directory are listed in both marketplaces. One MCP server can serve both surfaces; what differs is each platform's listing and review process.

Claude listing
Otter.ai publishes 3 tools to Claude, a deliberately narrow surface; only 11.3% of the 1,253 Claude-listed connectors expose fewer.
The median Claude-listed connector filed under Productivity publishes 12, so this one sits 9 tools below its bucket's median, 379th of 462.
It falls in the 1-3 tools band, which holds 16.4% of the Claude directory.
Otter.ai publishes a remote MCP endpoint. Claude connects to it over HTTP; there is nothing to install locally.
Every connector in the Claude directory is remote, all 1,253 of them, so transport is not a differentiator there.

In the publisher's words
Otter's MCP Server integrates with Otter.ai's meeting intelligence platform, enabling users to search meeting transcripts, retrieve conversation records, and extract insights. It provides tools to find meetings by date, participants, or topics, and access full transcripts, summaries, and action items. This helps teams review past discussions and prepare for meetings without leaving Claude.

This is an independent catalogue entry compiled by Node8 from Otter.ai's public marketplace listings as they stood in August 2026. Listing facts come from the marketplaces; the comparisons against the rest of the directory and any live-endpoint measurements are Node8's. Node8 is not affiliated with Otter.ai, and inclusion here is not an endorsement.
Node8 builds MCP servers end to end: deciding which tools are worth exposing, the authentication and permission model, the review submissions, and the onboarding that gets them used. One server serves ChatGPT, Claude, and Microsoft Copilot.
