SlideForge

Turns a request or dataset into an editable PowerPoint file

Listed in ChatGPT and Claude · 7 published tools · Community-listed

Overview

What SlideForge does

SlideForge takes a written request or a set of figures and returns a .pptx file that can be edited afterwards. Rendering takes roughly a second, a preview appears in the conversation, and the resulting file opens in PowerPoint, Google Slides, or Keynote.

Layouts come from a catalog of more than 150 patterns covering scoreboards, funnels, waterfalls, Gantt charts, org charts, roadmaps, and status dashboards. Decks can run to several slides, PDFs and slide images can be converted into editable form, output can be translated into 32 languages, and a brand theme and logo can be applied. A code mode allows custom python-pptx layouts when nothing in the catalog fits.

Rendering is deterministic: figures and text are placed as supplied, and each response states whether the slide rendered in full and what was adjusted. The app connects to an existing SlideForge account over OAuth.

Who it is for

Analysts, consultants, and managers who assemble reporting decks and need the output editable rather than a picture.

What stands out

The file is a real PowerPoint deck with placement fixed by the input, and each render reports what it changed.

Where SlideForge is listed

Smart Data Brokers GmbH ships this on both marketplaces: SlideForge is listed in the Claude connectors directory and in the ChatGPT apps directory, under the same publisher domain.

Only 392 of the 3,150 products in this directory are listed in both marketplaces. One MCP server can serve both surfaces; what differs is each platform's listing and review process.

Measured against the live endpoint

A direct call to the endpoint returned 7 tools, matching the 7 the listing publishes. Probed 2026-08-07.

Tools the server actually returns

  • browse_catalog
  • plan_slide
  • create_slide
  • create_deck
  • translate_deck
  • upload_asset
  • manage_account

SlideForge publishes a remote MCP endpoint. Claude connects to it over HTTP; there is nothing to install locally.

Every connector in the Claude directory is remote, all 1,253 of them, so transport is not a differentiator there.

In the publisher's words

How Smart Data Brokers GmbH describes it

SlideForge turns typed slide intents into native, fully editable PowerPoint files — deterministically. Pick one of 150+ catalog forms (KPI dashboards, waterfalls, Gantt plans, org charts, funnels, comparison matrices, and more), put your real content in typed fields, and a deterministic engine binds it verbatim: no LLM in the render path, same input renders the same slide, usually in under a second. Plain-language briefs work too — the engine routes them to the right form. Built for trust in business material: every response carries a fidelity manifest stating, per field, whether content was bound verbatim or model-completed; slides with blocking defects never bill (usable-or-free); free dry runs validate any payload before you spend. Whole decks render in parallel into one themed .pptx with a per-slide fidelity rollup — failed slides are isolated and free. Translate decks into 8 languages with formatting preserved, convert PDFs into editable decks, and apply brand themes extracted from your own PPTX. Pricing: creating a slide $0.05, transforming a slide $0.02, checking free. 60 free slides on signup, no credit card, no subscription. By Smart Data Brokers GmbH, Switzerland.
