Who it is for
Teams running work management in a Slingshot workspace.
Plan and update Slingshot tasks, projects, discussions and dashboards
Overview
Slingshot is work management covering tasks, projects, discussions, dashboards and data in one place, and this connector reaches nearly all of it.
The surface is organised the way the platform is. Workspaces and projects can be created, read, updated and deleted, with members and roles managed. Tasks support creation, update, deletion, listing, a personal view, message posting and time logging. Task lists, sections and types provide structure; custom fields define task metadata; discussions can be opened. At sixty-seven tools this runs a workspace instead of reporting on one. Community tier.

Credentials are required first, so sixty-seven is the listing's count. Workspaces and projects, tasks and time logging, task lists and types, custom fields, and discussions are the groupings described.
Availability
Slingshot is listed in the Claude connectors directory only. Slingshot has no app under the same domain in the ChatGPT directory; 392 of the 3,150 products here are on both marketplaces, and this is not one of them.
The MCP server behind a Claude connector is usually the same server a ChatGPT app would need, so the absence is a distribution decision rather than a technical one.
Claude listing
Slingshot publishes 67 tools to Claude, a deeper surface than 94.5% of the 1,253 Claude-listed connectors, the top decile.
The median Claude-listed connector filed under Productivity publishes 12, so this one runs 55 tools above its bucket's median and ranks 26th of 462 by tool count.
It falls in the 51+ tools band, which holds 9.6% of the Claude directory.
Slingshot publishes a remote MCP endpoint. Claude connects to it over HTTP; there is nothing to install locally.
Every connector in the Claude directory is remote, all 1,253 of them, so transport is not a differentiator there.
https://my.slingshotapp.io/mcp Slingshot is community-listed in the Claude directory, the tier 770 of 1,253 connectors sit in (61.5%). It is the default for a self-published server, and says nothing either way about quality.
In the publisher's words
Connect Claude to your Slingshot workspace to plan, track, and update work in natural language. Slingshot is a work-management platform that brings tasks, projects, discussions, dashboards, and data together in one place. The connector exposes nearly 70 tools across Slingshot's core surface: - Workspaces & projects — create, read, update, delete, and manage members and roles - Tasks — create, update, delete, list, view "my tasks," post messages, and log time - Task lists, sections & task types — structure and categorize work - Custom fields — define and manage structured task metadata - Discussions — open threads and post messages - Dashboards & data sources — read dashboards and query connected data - Profile & membership — read your profile and workspace/project members Reads and writes are separate tools, and every tool carries read-only or destructive hints so Claude confirms before anything irreversible, such as deleting a task or workspace. Authentication uses OAuth 2.1 with PKCE. You sign in with your existing Slingshot account, and the connector acts only with your own permissions. For safety, some capabilities are intentionally excluded: webhook management and file upload/download are not exposed, which prevents prompt-injection and unsafe binary transfer paths. Requires a Slingshot account. Learn more at slingshotapp.io.

This is an independent catalogue entry compiled by Node8 from Slingshot's public marketplace listing as it stood in August 2026. Listing facts come from the marketplaces; the comparisons against the rest of the directory and any live-endpoint measurements are Node8's. Node8 is not affiliated with Slingshot, and inclusion here is not an endorsement.
Node8 builds MCP servers end to end: deciding which tools are worth exposing, the authentication and permission model, the review submissions, and the onboarding that gets them used. One server serves ChatGPT, Claude, and Microsoft Copilot.
