Who it is for
Fleet, depot, and equipment managers running Trackunit telematics on construction machinery.
Query construction fleet data and configure automations
Overview
Trackunit IrisX answers questions about a connected equipment fleet in plain language, without a trip through Trackunit Manager. Asset status, scheduled services, and activity at a given site are all reachable this way.
The app goes past reporting. Active faults and assets sitting idle can be surfaced, alerts and access keys created, asset records updated, and automations or recurring reports set up from the same conversation.
Sample questions in the listing point at depot level summaries and utilisation comparisons, such as which machines spend the most time unused. Answers draw on the same fleet records the manager interface uses, so a query in conversation and a look at the dashboard describe the same assets.

It combines fleet lookups with configuration work, including alert creation and recurring report setup.
Availability
Trackunit ships this on both marketplaces: Trackunit IrisX is listed in the Claude connectors directory and in the ChatGPT apps directory, under the same publisher domain.
Only 392 of the 3,150 products in this directory are listed in both marketplaces. One MCP server can serve both surfaces; what differs is each platform's listing and review process.

Claude listing
Trackunit IrisX publishes 23 tools to Claude, deeper than 74% of the 1,253 Claude-listed connectors.
The median Claude-listed connector filed under Productivity publishes 12, so this one runs 11 tools above its bucket's median and ranks 128th of 462 by tool count.
It falls in the 21-50 tools band, which holds 20% of the Claude directory.
Trackunit IrisX publishes a remote MCP endpoint. Claude connects to it over HTTP; there is nothing to install locally.
Every connector in the Claude directory is remote, all 1,253 of them, so transport is not a differentiator there.
https://mcp.trackunit.ai/mcp Trackunit IrisX is community-listed in the Claude directory, the tier 770 of 1,253 connectors sit in (61.5%). It is the default for a self-published server, and says nothing either way about quality.
In the publisher's words
Query your fleet data in IrisX using natural language, without navigating Trackunit Manager. Review asset status, upcoming services and site activity. Identify active faults and underutilised assets, create alerts and access keys, update asset data, and set up automations and recurring reports.

This is an independent catalogue entry compiled by Node8 from Trackunit IrisX's public marketplace listings as they stood in August 2026. Listing facts come from the marketplaces; the comparisons against the rest of the directory and any live-endpoint measurements are Node8's. Node8 is not affiliated with Trackunit, and inclusion here is not an endorsement.
Node8 builds MCP servers end to end: deciding which tools are worth exposing, the authentication and permission model, the review submissions, and the onboarding that gets them used. One server serves ChatGPT, Claude, and Microsoft Copilot.
