Smart home automation control through conversation
Overview
Apilio is an automation service, and this app connects a chat session to an existing Apilio account. Devices, variables and logicblocks can be inspected and changed from the conversation, and new automation rules can be built there as well.
Beyond reading state, the app evaluates conditions and fires actions, so a rule can be exercised without opening the Apilio interface. Sample questions in the record include asking which variables exist on an account and what state a particular switch is in.
On the hardware and integration side, Philips Hue, Tado, Tuya and eWeLink are named, together with IFTTT, Alexa, webhooks and a REST API for anything not covered by those.

It reaches the conditional layer of a setup, variables and logicblocks, rather than only switching devices on and off.
Availability
Apilio is listed in the ChatGPT apps directory only. Apilio Ltd. has no connector under the same domain in the Claude directory; 392 of the 3,150 products here are on both marketplaces, and this is not one of them.
ChatGPT apps are built on MCP, and the same server can back a Claude connector, so the absence is a distribution decision rather than a technical one.

This is an independent catalogue entry compiled by Node8 from Apilio's public marketplace listing as it stood in August 2026. Listing facts come from the marketplaces; the comparisons against the rest of the directory and any live-endpoint measurements are Node8's. Node8 is not affiliated with Apilio Ltd., and inclusion here is not an endorsement.
Node8 builds MCP servers end to end: deciding which tools are worth exposing, the authentication and permission model, the review submissions, and the onboarding that gets them used. One server serves ChatGPT, Claude, and Microsoft Copilot.
