Who it is for
Designers editing animated SVGs precisely without opening the editor.
Browse, edit and export animated SVGs in a SVGator account
Overview
SVGator makes animated SVGs, and this connector edits them through conversation. Projects can be listed and opened, each with a direct editor link, and a project's structure examined before anything changes.
The editing model is the notable part. Changes run through a navigate, read, edit and check loop that touches only what was asked for, so recolouring a shape, retiming an animation, adding an element or adjusting a single keyframe does not disturb the rest. New projects and reusable assets can be built from scratch, projects duplicated and organised into folders, and plan details checked. Community tier.

Credentials gate the endpoint, so twenty-two is the listing's count. Project listing and opening, structure inspection, precise edits, asset creation, folder organisation and export are the groupings described.
Availability
SVGator is listed in the Claude connectors directory only. SVGator has no app under the same domain in the ChatGPT directory; 392 of the 3,150 products here are on both marketplaces, and this is not one of them.
The MCP server behind a Claude connector is usually the same server a ChatGPT app would need, so the absence is a distribution decision rather than a technical one.
Claude listing
SVGator publishes 22 tools to Claude, deeper than 72.2% of the 1,253 Claude-listed connectors.
The median Claude-listed connector filed under Productivity publishes 12, so this one runs 10 tools above its bucket's median and ranks 133rd of 462 by tool count.
It falls in the 21-50 tools band, which holds 20% of the Claude directory.
SVGator publishes a remote MCP endpoint. Claude connects to it over HTTP; there is nothing to install locally.
Every connector in the Claude directory is remote, all 1,253 of them, so transport is not a differentiator there.
https://mcp.svgator.com/mcp SVGator is community-listed in the Claude directory, the tier 770 of 1,253 connectors sit in (61.5%). It is the default for a self-published server, and says nothing either way about quality.
In the publisher's words
Connect Claude to your SVGator account to browse, create, edit, and export animated SVGs through natural conversation. Once connected, Claude can list and open your SVGator projects (each with a direct editor link), inspect a project's structure, and make precise changes — recolor a shape, retime an animation, add or remove elements, or adjust a single keyframe — using a navigate → read → edit → verify loop that touches only what you ask for. Claude can also build new projects and reusable assets from scratch, duplicate and organize projects into folders, and check your plan details. When you're ready to ship, Claude exports to the format you need: animated or static SVG (JS or CSS), React Native or Flutter source, Lottie JSON, or a rendered MP4/GIF. Sync formats return a temporary download link; video and GIF run as render jobs Claude polls until the download is ready. Your SVGator credentials are handled through SVGator's standard OAuth sign-in and stay server-side — they are never exposed to Claude or the model. Claude only ever receives the results of the actions you request. Requires a SVGator account.

This is an independent catalogue entry compiled by Node8 from SVGator's public marketplace listing as it stood in August 2026. Listing facts come from the marketplaces; the comparisons against the rest of the directory and any live-endpoint measurements are Node8's. Node8 is not affiliated with SVGator, and inclusion here is not an endorsement.
Node8 builds MCP servers end to end: deciding which tools are worth exposing, the authentication and permission model, the review submissions, and the onboarding that gets them used. One server serves ChatGPT, Claude, and Microsoft Copilot.
