The read

What Bizora does

Price is the first thing to notice. Bizora starts at $29.99 per user per month, which is roughly a fiftieth of what Blue J charges an individual and a fiftieth of the entry package at CCH AnswerConnect, and the entry tier is a real product rather than a demo. What is rationed at that level is the expensive work: two Deep Research runs a day, two web searches, two document uploads and two memo drafts, with unlimited ordinary questions and Vault access on top. Pro at $69.99 removes the daily caps, and Pinnacle at $119.99 adds audit research against PCAOB, GASB, AICPA and Yellow Book material plus GAAP to IFRS comparisons and disclosure checklists. There is also a usage-priced API, $0.24 for a fast tax query, $1.50 for a deep one, $0.65 for an audit query, which is unusual in this category and useful to anyone building research into their own workflow.

Day to day it works as a chat with citations to IRC sections, regulations, rulings and case law, routed automatically between tax and audit depending on the question. The Vault holds client documents so an answer can be grounded in an actual K-1 or purchase agreement rather than a description of one, and Canvas drafts a memo whose conclusions stay linked to the sources behind them. Coverage is claimed for federal plus all 50 states, with some international and OECD material. The company was built around transaction tax first, and the deal-structuring heritage shows in how it handles document-heavy questions.

The caveats are real. Bizora describes itself as working toward SOC 2 audit readiness, not as certified, which is a meaningful difference from Blue J's annual Type 2 or Accordance's Type II and will fail some firms' vendor reviews outright. Bizora AI Inc. is a small Irvine company with no disclosed founding date, funding or team size, no named firm references, and no integrations with tax preparation or practice management software. The breadth claim, 50 states and international coverage at $29.99, is exactly the claim a buyer should test on their own hardest question during the 7-day trial rather than take on faith, because nothing published explains how current the state corpus is or how recent legislation is folded in. SAML single sign-on through Auth0 and Microsoft Entra is supported, and the vendor states it does not train on customer content.

Set against Blue J, this is the budget option without the licensed Tax Notes and IBFD commentary and without the install base. Set against AskTomG, Bizora has state coverage and document analysis where AskTomG has federal depth and a stronger memo discipline. Against CCH AnswerConnect, the trade is editorial explanation for price.

One-to-watch stays. The pricing and the API are genuinely differentiating for a small firm, but an uncertified security posture, an undocumented corpus and no named references are not what a firm bets a filing position on yet.
