What ICD-10 Codes does
ICD-10-CM covers diagnoses and ICD-10-PCS covers inpatient procedures, and between them they carry most of the coding burden in US healthcare billing. This Anthropic built connector reaches both sets without credentials. A single code can be looked up for its full description and HIPAA status, or validated as of a particular date, which matters because the code sets change annually and a claim is judged against the version in force at the time of service. Search spans both sets at once. Navigation calls walk the structure: child codes under a category, diagnosis codes by chapter or category letter, and procedure codes by body system and section.
